SAG CONSERVATORY Hollywood The SAG Conservatory is located at The American Film Institute, 2021 N. W e s t e r n A v e n u e , CA 90027.

If you are heading East on Franklin Ave, turn left ( n o r t h ) . The AFI is halfway up the hill on the left. Turn into the driveway and go up the hill (past Immaculate Heart High School). The first building on your left is the Warner building where many auditions for student films are held. To get to the SAG Conservatory, continue driving. Further up the hill, as you veer left, you’ll see a white two-story building, the Mayer Library. The SAG Conservatory office is located in LIB 100 on the ground floor. The studio, classroom and the Frankovich / Barnes screening room are also located on the ground floor.

Go to the Conservatory via Public Transportation:

Red Line to Hollywood/Western: (from Downtown & North Hollywood)

Metro Bus to Hollywood/Western: 180, 181, 217, 757 and Rapid Bus and 780
Metro Bus to Franklin/Western: 207 and Rapid 717
(Call 1.800. COMMUTE or visit www.metro.net for times and fare)

Hollywood Dash to Franklin/Western (www.ladottransit.com/dash for times and fare)

Tips for riding your bike:

Ride like you drive (with direction of traffic, signal when turning, stay out of
the door zone…) You can take your bike on all Metro trains. All Metro busses have two racks on the front of the bus. (Dash does not have racks) Bring a lock for your bike to lock it up during classes. (There are some trees and high poles to lock to.) Wear sun block. Hydrate. Bring baby-wipes to freshen up.
